During a support situation this log may be requested for troubleshooting by a support tech but requires the user to manually send.
GEEKOnline application Does NOT send information about you or your computer to anyone.

Sending System Logs
Your copy of GEEKOnline, once a log is generated, will send a system log to our support technicians for analysis. The information transmitted is used to diagnose problems on your computer. Here is the information we collect:

  • List of the software that runs when your computer starts
  • Hostfile entries
  • Additional web browser toolbars
  • Additional web browser buttons
  • Additional context menu items
  • Non default search page entries
  • Non default home page entries in your web browser(s)
  • Non default win.ini entries
  • Non default system.ini entries
  • Non default iereset.ini entries
  • Changes to the registry that block the loading of Internet Options
  • Changes to the registry that block the loading of RegEdit
  • Changes to the default URL prefixes
  • Changes to the trusted zones for IE
  • Changes to ShellServiceObjectDelayLoad
  • Changes to SharedTaskScheduler
  • List of the services running on your computer
  • Broken internet access due to software like New.Net
  • Extra options in MSIE 'Advanced' settings tab
  • Installed IE plugins
  • List of hijacked domains
  • List of internet protocols and filters installed
  • List of Winlogon Notify Registry keys
  • List autorun Registry values
