- If you have a high-speed Internet connection, you can talk to the repair tech live while he or she is fixing your PC.
- IS IT SAFE TO SHARE A SCREEN WITH THE REPAIR TECH?
- Absolutely. GEEKOnline's screen sharing software uses 128 bit encryption to ensure your security and we will never initiate a session without your consent. You must authorize a GEEKOnline session before it can begin and you have the ability to override our tech support rep at any time during the session.
- The GEEKOnline tech repairing your PC will only perform the tasks required to fix your computer and will explain what he or she is doing as you follow along on your monitor.
- When you stop your screen sharing session, the software used for the session does not stay on your PC. If you want to begin another session, you have to re-install the software (a 30-second process) before the session can begin.
- Once the session is over, it's over. The tech cannot restore the connection to your PC.
- Some of the biggest corporations, including those who handle highly-sensitive data, use screen sharing software to connect company computers to their IT support personnel.

- GEEKOnline can only repair computers running on Windows operating systems. At this time, we do not offer services to MAC users or users of other operating systems.
